About Me

As a dedicated artist and designer, I am driven by a profound passion for transforming personal and collective experiences into evocative visual narratives. My work bridges the realms of illustration, design, and interactive sculpture, channeling raw emotions into forms that invite introspection and connection. Rooted in themes of trauma, resilience, and healing, I strive to create art that not only reflects my own journey but also fosters empathy and dialogue among viewers.

Central to my practice is the series Exploration: Collective Scars, which delves into the emotional wounds we all bear—marks shaped by cultural pressures, personal histories, and societal norms. Through pieces like PUPA, an interactive sculpture crafted from plaster bandages, a micro camera, and a projector, I explore my childhood experiences of fear and hyper-vigilance, critiquing normalized practices in Asian-style education that prioritize control over compassion. Viewers' hand movements trigger live projections, mirroring the tension and release of recovery, symbolizing the slow metamorphosis from vulnerability to strength.

In my newest work, Scars Wall, I extend this exploration to the interconnectedness of our scars, using layered panels and interactive elements to illustrate how individual traumas weave into a shared human tapestry. This piece, alongside my standalone illustrations and design projects, emphasizes the transformative power of art: turning pain into sources of unity and growth.

I am committed to continual evolution, refining my skills to produce innovative solutions that resonate deeply. Ultimately, my art is an invitation to collaborate, reflect, and heal—let's create spaces where honesty and change can flourish.
